A freehold property on 288.98ha sequestering large volumes of carbon, with a net stocked area of 198.3ha. Plnting the block predominantly in 1998 with a smaller stand in 1993. Accessing the property is off Ongarue Stream Road, which is north-west of Taumaranui. The forest are establishing 4×4 tracks providing good access around the property.

Neighbouring the forests and region known for high growth rates, commercial forestry plantations and throughout the wider region as well as an extensive logging history. Bordering the southern boundary is Pureora Forest Park, a large, well established native forest with its own logging history.
